Lauren,
Yes indeed the clowns arrive at ICANN circa 1999. Their
traveling circus like ringling brothers is a bit overpopulated
with Marketing Jargon clowns, which is why so many already newly
ICANN created gTLD and other types of 'TLD's' have met with less
than anticipated results.
