Eric,
Getting "control" over the IDNO was a very important issue...for those who
wanted to use that control to terminate the democratic constituency for once
and for all. You may remember who they were.
I don't really care which polling system is used. There are better ones than
mine.
To get a feel of what is available for free, people who know me might as well
use this one http://www.alienwarechallenge.com/news/GLOBAL_POLL-42.html to vote
for my daughter Livia in a wild-travel backpackers' competition.
It uses "capcha's" and return emails to weed out robots.
Bonus: You go in the draw for one of those super-duper alienware laptops.

Thanks Joop,
Does anyone have a problem with this system?
Seems like there was some hubbub about control of the thing. I never quite
got that level of paranoia. So if there are any objections let us know.

My Polling Booth is available for secret ballots. For all options, see
http://pollingbooth.info/about/
Voter registration (name, email) is necessary.

I am keeping this transparent and open.
Please suggest to me on this list -- voting places.
I am looking for this field of info to be included in registration and to
be public. E mail address. Name. Time on this list. Or even not on this list or
maybe used to be on this list. Certainly any affiliation in ICANN matters will
be welcome -- we are the GA after all. I really want some counsel members and
some folk like NCUC or whatever the are called and then some at-smalls.
Then I want secret ballot. We are looking for the most open booth to
assure transparency and public verification but we want a secure booth for how
a vote was cast. I want this booth to be used and used weekly. And soon I want
it used to replace me with someone who can claim a little more legitimacy.
ICANN needs a public opinion poll on ongoing issues. We are logical to provide
such.
