All,

This so far seems to be a helpful government effort to aid in
protecting the Internet using public form errant miscrients and
especially cyber fraud perps now increasingly becoming evident
and prevelent in their illegal activities. I am hopeful that
ICANN's SSAC will be wanting to works closely with DHS on this
as far too often some of the most significant Registrars have been
noticed as being at least helpful or turning a blind eye to such
cyberfraud behavior from registrants and most especially these
registrars and registries hosting services. I hope that Rod
Bekstrom will in no uncertain terms direct ICANN's SSAC to in
a much more comprehensive manner and with significant vigor,
monitor these Registrars and Registries accordingly and direct
them to take immediate action when warrented or best considered.

The Us Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Defense Department
are partnering with several financial services companies to test a new
model of cyber threat information sharing. The program allows
participants to share cyber threat information in real time and to
examine network intrusions and activity. The long term goal is to allow
DHS to look at cyber threat data across the government and private
sectors, as many components of the country's critical infrastructure are
private, and improve cyber security for everyone.
