Joe,
What if ISPs just block both opendns/google's public dns and/or force
traffic on resolver to the ISP's local resolver?

they are making big fuzz out of it and educating customers NOT to trust
their ISPs that they pay them money yet trust some free provider out
there?

sounds a bit weird to me overall.
