I must say that in light of recent revelations about registry/registrar 
accounting and those in charge, that Georges forensic auditing reports take on 
a whole new light. Mamma said the devil is in the details.
So if I read this right, we are getting a profit margin on an item that is to 
be cost recovery.

DNS from UltraDNS isn't cheap. ;) I'm aware there are much less

I'd argue it was overpriced

Costing DNS based on the number of queries works fine if you're selling it
on, but if you run a registry or registrar those are not a true reflection of
your costs
