Eric and all,

Well here I am the devil in disguise! >:)

Well it seems that now Yahoo cares. So what, one might also say?
Well the problem with which Danny, and perhaps others have is that
perhaps OnilineNics address isn't accurate. However quoting Google
as a reference to point to that contention is hardly definitive, if
accurate in and of themselves given their own accuracy problems.
See: Google Chrome "chromeHTML://" Command Line Parameter Injection
http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1/499570
Avoiding service may be OnlineNics motive, if there indeed is one,
and if indeed the address they list is not accurate. If so, than one
can understand their motivation, but perhaps not their means of
method of effecting such.

Eric is of course right, getting someone serviced even if their real
address is unknown is not all that difficult of a task, although perhaps
the within 24 hour boast is/may be a bit of an exaggeration.

All in all though, IMO, OnlineNic has far greater problems than
a potential improper or inaccurate real address listing in Whois. As
such, ICANN being the Accrediting authority, also seems to be at
least culpable here if the allegation of same is proven beyond a
shadow of a doubt. THAT demonstrates clearly ICANN as an
oversight authority leaves at a minimum, much to be desired
and a decided lack of competent leadership.

All this now said, seems to me that DOC/NTIA has some more
"Bitch slapping" to do...

set this structure, seemingly non structure up. The shell game
concepts are very difficult to construct. This one even is complete
with living or dynamic patterned contact switches. The cool thing here
is that it does not seem to be designed to commit either Hari Kari or
mass commercial fraud but simply to avoid direct confrontation. If
someone has a lawsuit filed I could get them served in about 24
hrs. My question to you Danny is; Who cares??, and why? If someone or
thing does not want to be bothered by you or God forbid, Jeff Williams
;-} they should somewhat legally and somewhat illegally be able to
avoid you. Bet you have a restricted # on your cell.

Cybersquatting registrar OnlineNic has gone out of its way to
hide its primary
business address. On ICANN's list of accredited registrars it
only posts
       this info:

       Carrie Arden Tel: 510-769-8492

Google's residential phonebook shows this phone number registered
to:
       Rex Liu 2251 Mosley Ave,Alameda, CA 94501

Rex is cited as an onlinenic technical contact here:
       http://www.ratite.com/whois/whois.cgi?domain=registrar+ONLINENIC.
Hint: note the large number of Xiamen, China phone numbers

Meanwhile, OnlineNic's support page provides a mailing address at
       351 Embarcadero E.
       Oakland, CA 94606

Unfortunately, their office isn't there either -- for an
investigative
       report (complete with pictures) see
       http://dotsnews.com/domain-name-news/184

So where is their primary place of business? See the link below:
