Danny and all,
This is not really news, yet remains a concern and IMO, a concern
that ICANN should address and that has been unrecognized by
DOC/NTIA for reasons that cannot be reasonably understood.
This still brings into serious question ICANN's ability or willingness
to adhere to the MOU without having their noses rubbed into publicly
their own lack of honoring it's contract with the public via the MOU
and through DOC/NTIA. Ergo it seems still necessary that the leadership
of ICANN needs similar house training much like a dog/puppy. Very
unfortunate indeed! >:(
Could it be that these undisclosed Registrars are located in countries
that do not have extradition agreements with the USG or in countries
that are on the terrorists watch lists? If so, than is ICANN by contract
is likely violation of the patriot act amongst other international criminal
acts/laws and agreements? If so, shouldn't DHS be investigating these
possibilities and shouldn't DOJ be also conducting a parallel investigation
accordingly? If not, I would be curious to exactly why not or when they
will be?
