Dear Jeff,
A few thoughts regarding the revised draft:
1. Question 7 -- I know that we discussed the word "justification"
in the context of question 9 but I believe the same arguments relating
to its use apply to question 7 and would propose not using it. Perhaps
we can follow the new model of question 9.
2. Question 8 -- In response to Milton's concern, perhaps we
could ask what other sources they would use and include a none of
the above response.
3. Question 9 -- I have some concerns about deleting option (c)
as proposed by Milton. We ask respondents to explain their answer
so if they choose option c we hope to receive a rationale which will
help us understand the views of whois data users.
4. Intro Para 2, last sentence -- May I propose a redraft as
follows: "The GNSO's role is to help to promote the development of
recommendations related to the management of gTLDs and
encourage . . . . .
Thanks,
David
