Hi James & Co.,

Does our Transmittal letter need to indicate the GNSO's interest in
participating as a Decisional member? The GAC's letter does. I'm not sure
if/when we have to make that clear. Sure would hate to not say it here, and
be out in the cold for eternity. Question though: have we asked this
question of the GNSO? I assume it would be a resounding yes, but I don't
know if we have to actually ask that question of our stakeholders before we
answer it.

Steve D. seems to be the high priest of this proposal. Should we ask him?

Best,

Paul

Hi Wolf-Ulrich -

I'll let Marika respond to your first question.

With regard to your second point, I think you are correct. Regarding
statements, my only asks were that (1) the statement clearly indicate
whether it is on behalf of an SG/C, or an individual Councilor, and (2) that
statements be submitted in writing or briefly summarized (1-2 sentences),
rather than read in their entirety.

Thanks-

J.

Thanks Marika,

1. shouldn't it read at the beginning of the letter "On behalf of the GNSO
..." since the GNSO is the chartering organization, not the council?

2. I understood yesterday that accompanying statements shall be provided by
constituencies as well as individual council members.

Best regards

Wolf-Ulrich

Dear All,

As discussed yesterday, please find attached for your review the draft
transmittal letter to the CCWG-Accountability Chairs which would be sent
following the vote later this afternoon.

Best regards,

Marika
