issue has been dragging on for some time (the original deadline was
3<sup>rd</sup> August) and there are possibly some lessons to be learned here.
In my view, the Council is not set up to undertake the sort of recruitment
exercise potentially required here i.e. some sort of filtering of the
candidates against the criteria. At least not without further work on
process.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D;mso-fareast-language:EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p
class="MsoNormal"><span

the face of it, all six candidates seem very well qualified and, given they
have submitted fairly detailed resumes, appear motivated to assist

informed that the IDN project team has now issued a Call for Experts to join
the new Working Group to review the IDN Guidelines: see <a

unfortunately, although a small group of community volunteers was formed in
February, there has been no discussion or input provided by that group (which
