RE: [council] AGP Limits Policy Implementation Report
Thanks Craig for this report.
Councilors:
* Please note the following statement in this report: "The
approved AGP Limit Policy provides that ICANN is to report on the
implementation of the Policy for two years following its effective date
of 1 April 2009. Given there has been no significant change in the
results from the Policy in the last year and that the next report would
be due several months after the effective date, ICANN proposes that this
fourth update be the final report to the GNSO Council and the community
on the implementation of the Policy." I believe that the intent was to
say the following: "The approved AGP Limit Policy provides that ICANN
is to report on the implementation of the Policy for two years following
its effective date of 1 April 2009. Given there has been no significant
change in the results from the Policy in the last year and that the next
report would be due several months after the end of the two year period,
ICANN proposes that this fourth update be the final report to the GNSO
Council and the community on the implementation of the Policy."
* If there are any objections to this, I suggest that a motion
be made to extend the reporting period longer. Otherwise, this would be
the last report.

Subject: [council] AGP Limits Policy Implementation Report
Dear Councilors,
Please find attached the fourth AGP Limits Policy Implementation Report.
This proposed final report provides a status update on the
implementation of the Policy since it was announced to the community on
17 December 2008.
ICANN looks forward to providing an update to the Council at one of its
future meetings and answering any questions councilors may have about
this information.
Best,
Craig Schwartz
