As to your remarks, indeed a seller of any service should set
the price for that service, yet the current RAA contract with
Verisign locks in a escalating pricing scheme. However this may
be appreciate as Verisign is also contracted to ICANN and ICANN
is a public service non profit corp. whom is in turn contracted to
the USG via DOC/NTIA.
