This is the week to have a long hard look at
contractual criteria.  Feel free to vent on such
topics as presumptive-right-of-renewal, intellectual
property protections, compliance provisions, etc.

Also, please take note of this comment from the Board:
"We also note the existence of a policy development
process on new gTLDs and strongly believe that this
policy development process should be informed by the
results of the comments received on the proposed
contract for .com and settlement with VeriSign."

Policy to Guide Contractual Conditions for New Top
Level Domains:

a.  Using the experience of previous rounds of top
level domain name application processes and the recent
amendments to registry services agreements, develop
policies to guide the contractual criteria which are
publicly available prior to any application rounds.
 
b.  Determine what policies are necessary to provide
security and stability of registry services.
 
c.  Determine appropriate policies to guide a
contractual compliance programme for registry
