Please stay with me on this one.
I hate convolusion, but sometimes thrashing it out helps.
Jefsey and Richard are on to something here.
We must not succumb or become deaf, dumb and mute to lack of process. I am not a Catholic, and I have some disdain for a process that promotes what I do not favor. However, I stand in awe of the longest lasting process on earth, perhaps save - the most holiness of Dalai Lama and teachings of "if you cannot benefit others, at least do them no harm".
So if we stand at crossroads and have no compass or map or know not our destination, how do we decide which fork in the road to take? Chief Yellowhorse told me, always to take the high path. I told him there is more fun in the creekbed, and besides the ridge is hot and dry. He laughed and told me -"then go and enjoy, but know you have broken our process of ten thousand years" (that is native american for - forever). And so I learned process, grabbed my paint's mane and complained as we rode to the 4th mesa. I still disdain process. And I think all rules are made to be broken, but that is where unbridled thinking leads you. And that is why the sixshooter tamed the west.
These TLDs are unbridled but it will take one heck of a sharpeshootin trickrider broncbustin son of a bitch to tame them And then he got ta stick around long nuff to build a corral.
<if I lost you on that read some Lamour or Grey>
Due Process is the cornerstone of civilized behavior. And old man Williams has been tellin us that for years.

IMHO, the point Richard was making was little related to religion and much
related to communications. Regardless our opinion about the position of JPII
on different issues, it cannot be denied (IMHO) that an official position of
a head of state on communications and technology is worthed a post on this
list.
To pick on that single line in a one page message is really deviating from
the point.

Roberto
