Eric and all former DNSO GA members or other interested
stakeholders/users,

Regional TLD's are unlikely to expand beyond .EU anytime soon if
ever. This is unfortunate IMHO.

One must understand that ICANN vs Verisign is more that about just
Versign or ICANN as ICANN has no stockholders, nor does it really
have any stakeholders/users and/or members despite the ALAC and ICANN's
claim to the contrary as the ALAC has no individual members nor vote as
Verisigns stockholders have. Versign differs in that many of it's
clients
also have stockholders and some have stakeholders/users which also have
a vote on whom may represent them at some level. ICANN does not
have this consideration or level of responsibility and accountability.
