There are no current absolute secure browser platforms. I use
a self modified Netscape Browser that does not suffer from the
present known and documented security and privacy holes/exposiers.
Netscape got it right, long ago... The other browser platform I use
is IE 7.02 ( with the latest MS released security updates installed )
for non-security exposier browsing, ect.

The announcment didn't only cover or apply to ONLY government
offices. Ergo a bit of a less than reasonable edict. In any event we,
meaning my company, and it appears that some of our members
organizations are takeing or have already taken necessary precautions
to protect their networks, servers, online data bases, and users from
being exposed to the errant and obviously irresponsible decision by
the Vietnamese government has edicted. Now that the US FCC has
removed all restrictions to filtering in the past few days, we can now
more fully address such decisions that may, likely, or certainly will
have a negitive impact on our users, networks, servers, and online
data bases. Further, in that IDtheft in the US alone occurs now at
a reported 1000 every 3 mins., and that liability by providers at
multipul levels can and has been determined by court decision,
yet there is no good means to date that is afforadable to most
small business users, or non business users by which such IDtheft
occurance which largely are a result of an action by a party or
parties that do not reside in the US, ergo we feel that it is in our best
interest, as well as the perfered interest of the vast majority of our
users and/or business partners at all levels to take immediate and
significant action. We have done so!

I am sorry and dismayed that the Government of Vietnam has
decided that it's own self interest exceeds the interests of it's
trading partners, and/or other At-Large Internet users for whatever
reasons it has decided to do so and in the manner in which it effected
the decision it has. I am hopeful that our DOC will take some action
to pursuade the Vietmanese Government to reconsider.
