Subject: paid up, or not?

I think all candidates running for election for a RC role should state
whether or not their ICANN payment obligations have been paid in full and
are up to date for each registrar for which they work/represent.

Please disregard my prior posting on this subject. My
response related to the voluntary *dues* we pay to the Registrars
Constituency. Paul was referring to the mandatory *fees* which we
must pay to ICANN.

If a Registrar were to delay its payments to ICANN, it could build its
cash flow to enable it to play the "Millionaire's Game" of
"Add-Delete grace period abuse" (euphemistically called
"Domain Tasting") to the disadvantage to other ICANN Accredited
Registrars who pay their fees in a timely manner. We know how
RegisterFly.com played the cash flow game, don't we?

We certainly should be informed whether any nominee were playing such a
game.

While it is unlikely that anyone would accuse us of being a millionaire,
I can affirm that Domains Only, Inc. has paid it's ICANN fees in a timely
manner;-) I would appreciate your vote for me to be Secretary for
fiscal 2007-2008.
