ICANN has commenced its preliminary determination period on a new registry service from Telnic Ltd. to alter their public Whois display in order to comply with UK and EU law. Information on the proposed registry service is available at: http://www.icann.org/registries/rsep/submitted_app.html#2007004. The proposal is similar to one approved by the ICANN Board for .NAME on 2 December 2002. As with all registry services proposals, an open public comment forum is available at registryservice@xxxxxxxxx. Comments may be viewed at http://forum.icann.org/lists/registryservice.
