The nomination period for GNSO Council PDP-Feb06 TF has closed with
three confirmed candidates:
Ross Rader (Council Seat)
Jon Nevett (Open Seat #1)
Jeff Eckhaus (Open Seat #2)
Time is of the essence, and the candidates are runnin unopposed. As a
result, the ExCom has decided to run the candidate discussion
concurrently with the ballot inspection period. Both are now open and
will close on March 19, 2006 at 2:00PM EST. The election will take
place using two ballots as posted below. The election will open on
March 21, 2006 at approx. 2:00PM EST.

<Ballot #1 Council Seat>
The GNSO Council has initiatied PDP-Feb06. The purpose of this task
force is to examine the policy implications of the registry contracts
and make policy recommendations in specific areas covered by the Task
Force Terms of Reference.
Each constituency may appoint up to three representatives to this task
force, one of which should be a member of the GNSO Council. The
candidate listed is running unopposed.
