Please join me in welcoming Tim Cole to the ICANN staff as Chief Registrar
Liaison. He brings a wealth of appropriate talents and skills to the
position. Tim is an attorney and former operations manager. Among his
experiences, Tim administered the UDRP process for the National Arbitration
Forum for several years. Through that prior experience, he has gained a
comprehensive knowledge of registrar issues that will directly aid him in
his assignment at ICANN. 

Tim starts work in Marina del Rey Monday, 15 November. 

As you know, we have a lot of meaningful work to do in this area. Among
Tim's first tasks are the implementation of an effective contractual
compliance program, renewal of expiring Registrar Accreditation Agreements
and resolution of the batch pool / deleted names market model. 

Thank you in advance for providing the support required to make Tim's tenure
at ICANN successful for all of us.
