Rob,
Putting Jon's IANA papers into a digital archive is something we could
start a subscription fund for -- people would pay to contribute to Jon's
legacy and making the operational art of the pre-ICANN IANA public and
accessible.
Just putting it on-budget and not consulting is un-smart, the community
of interest is vastly larger than the ICANN staff and whoever they want
to stick with the cost.
What is the line-item cost?
