Thanks Glen Attached please find the GNSO related meetings schedule. (It will be posted and updated on the calendar page http://gnso.icann.org/calendar/#jun This should be read together with http://sanjuan2007.icann.org/schedule/ for the full picture of all the ICANN meetings in San Juan. There will be remote participation for the GNSO working sessions in San Juan on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June 2007. The calls start at 9:00am local time which is 13:00 UTC 06:00 LA, 09:00 New York, 10:00 Buenos Aires, 14:00 London, 15:00 Brussels, 21:00 Hong Kong/Singapore, 23:00 Melbourne, 01:00 Auckland next day Please see the dial-in details below. The numbers and the pass code, GNSO remain the same for both days and the calls will run all day. Please remember to identify yourself before speaking, speak clearly. Here are some suggestions to optimise remote participation: - Remote participants should not be on speaker phones. Speaker phones have a tendency to cut in and out depending on the amount of background noise they are picking up. - The quality of phone instrument being used remotely and the quality of phone services varies widely. It may be that some participants can not get any better quality than what they are experiencing. In order to help ensure that remote participation - especially telephonic participation - works well, we need some help from those participating remotely. This is due to the fact that the audio you are receiving, and which is coming from you, are going not just to others on the telephone but out through the public address system in the room and this poses additional technical challenges to the audio quality. To provide the best experience to everyone, the following recommendations are made: 1) Do not use a speakerphone unless you mute yourself when you are not speaking. The design of most speakerphones is such that leaving a speakerphone off mute will lead to feedback loops being created (an unpleasant howling sound which grows in volume) 2) When you are not speaking, mute yourself to avoid noises near you being broadcast. 3) To mute and un-mute yourself, use *6 4) To reach an operator, on calls which are monitored, press *0 5) If monitoring the conversation using a speakerphone, when you are ready to speak, pickup the handset. The sound quality will be much better for everyone listening. If you have a problem and cannot be heard or cannot hear: 1) Try to contact the teleconference operator - if you think the audio problem relates to the teleconference service 2) Contact the Glen de Saint Géry on instant messenger or via telephone or email as follows: ICQ 332032361 Mobile: +33 6 21 79 24 54 gnso@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx gnso.secretariat@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx We are doing our best to improve remote participation options all the time and welcome your feedback.
