Dear Mark

We heard about it some weeks ago and Glaser did made a search with some
Latin America countries in order to offer Brasil - another venue different
from Rio , an available option. Several countries did offer the support for
Brazilian organization.
I'll be introducing this matter to our Board of Brazilian Internet Steering
Committee next few weeks for the convenien approval and will be back to you
.

Best Regards

Antonio

All:

Some of you have probably heard that the third ICANN meeting of the year in
2006 was going to be in Panama City. They were selected by the ICANN Board
but recently the meeting sponsors have withdrawn. ICANN is looking for an
alternate venue in Latin America.
