Good catch; thanks for that. Does anyone else have a view on the tone
and substance of this? Its not too late and other suggestions are still
welcome for the next several hours.

Maggie,

Thank you for these truly excellent statements, which

as a 'suffering' member of the WHOIS task forces since

mid 2001, I fully support.

Just an edit required in TOR statement, three lines

above final paragraph "continue to pushing".

Best regards

Tony Harris

	Dear colleagues-

Following up on our call earlier this week, please find my
proposals for ISPCP constituency statements attached.

	1) The first document incorporates changes we discussed on
the conflict of law process.

	2) The second document is a draft statement on the terms
of reference tasks 1 and 2. As we discussed, there is not a whole lot
to say on these particular tasks but rather, the stagnation of the whole
process is what needs to be addressed. I draw your attention to the
portion in the document titled "ISP Proposal" and welcome any thoughts
or edits.

These are very short documents so kindly review them today, if
at all possible. I hope to finalize and forward these documents by 4PM
EDT tomorrow. At the latest, we have promised the task force our
statements will be provided by week's end.

	Thanks,

	Maggie

	Dear Colleagues-

Attached please find a proposed ISPCP statement on the Whois
task force recommendation for conflict of law process. It would be
great if we can finalize this document on today's call.

We have an additional constituency statement to submit on the TF
terms of reference, but I will need to hear from the other members
before drafting our proposal, because I was on leave during much of the
discussion that lead to the combining of the 3 task forces and new terms
of reference.

While the statements were due on the 21 July, all constituencies
have requested and received an extension and thus, as long as we
finalize our statements in the next few days, it should be ok.

I look forward to speaking with you all later today.

Subject: [ispcp] Constituency Conference call on WHOIS

	Dear ISPCP colleagues

A conference call will be held on Monday 25th July from 17.00 UK
time ( 13.00 Washington, 14.00 Buenos Aires, 18.00 Paris see
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html ).

Apologies to Maruyama, for having to hold the call at a very
unsociable hour in Tokyo, we will try to do better in future. Trying to
arrange this at fairly short notice proved challenging, but it's
important the ISPCP agree a statement that will be fed into the WHOIS
task force and discuss the next stage of the process.

Maggie Mansourkia will try to submit a draft response prior to
the call. If you unable to join the call, comments on the draft are
welcome.

Call in details are as follows.

	Date: Monday 25th July

	Time: 17.00 GMT

	Number: +44 208 813 3300

	PIN: 13754498#

	Regards

	Tony
