This is another example of how one can approach what's happening ar ICANN.
No wonder the normal participant prefers to communicate with people
who are not so blind as these "us" of which Ted is speaking. Instead
of syaing a good word about the newcomers, it seems like the "old
guys" are angry. The Internet doesn't begin and doesn't end with the
negativism of such people.
The interests of the fellows have little to do with the hidden (and
not so hiddeb) agenda of these "us". I saw and talked to many of them.
These are people who are not like "you". They are humble, educated,
and quiet people, who bring the Internet in their countries for the
benefit of their societies. They are not representing the commercial
registrants, and certainly they are not charged with "your"
negativism.
No wonder "you" are angry that such constructive people participate in
the ICANN process.
