That's unfortunate and demonstrates a decided lack of commitment. INEGroup has enough to do to fund itself, let along fund any new organization of any kind. Our lobbying costs alone for fiscal year 2006 were $8.2m, which from my personal perspective were too little to make a significant enough difference and were largely a waste of money. Agreed we can develope membership, but not from this mailing list forum alone, as that has been tried before and failed. The "If you build they will come" catch frase is nice but wholly unrealistic. It takes HARD work, dedication, a good and sustainable funding stream that is long term reliable as well as a good outreach marketing plan that can develope over time but must be initially effective.
