Gentle folks;
I am pleased to announce that one of our major contributors and free thinkers has accepted to head up the WG on Whois. Chris McKelroy is a long time member of the GA and has extensive experience working both sides of this issue. The privacy versus transparency issue will likely never be decided to any ones complete satisfaction and has in fact been a work in progress for ICANN for years.
We can look forward to vigorous analysis and contributions by Chris.
Sincerely
Eric
