As for his assertion that ICANN and NTIA protect DNS stability - there is no truth to that; Under ICANN and NTIA the DNS is as naked as New Orleans on August 29 2005. As for the purported relationship with root operators - no truth to that either. And "deliberative privilege"? Since when has congressional oversight had to limit itself to FOIA based limitations? NTIA is not a party to any litigation, it has paid, with our money, for a legal analysis. It is improper to hide that behind some faux claim of privilege. --karl--
