I am always amazed when people accept not the second best, not the third 
best, nor even the fourth; but instead willingly allow themselves to be 
labeled as inferior.

The ALAC system is a badge of inferiority - it treats the community of 
internet users as children who may have no voice that must be heard 
while at the same time certain select industrial interests have been 
given direct access to the levers of control in ICANN.

Sad day.
