Excuse me Danny but last i checked constituency is not an individual.

individual representation.

Not true. The LSE has recommended "creating a direct
(primary) membership in ICANN for firms, other
organizations and individuals. Newly joined members
interested in generic names issues would then be
directed to also join one of the new, simpler and
easier to understand constituencies that we outline
below."

The LSE then outlines a constituency structure that
includes a Civil Society Constituency whose members
would include the NCUC, individuals currently
represented by the ALAC and ordinary domain holders --
see paragraph 4.35 of the LSE report.

However, one of the problems with the LSE Report is a
failure on their part to be cognizant of the ICANN
history regarding membership. They are clearly
unaware that there are those on the current Board that
still view the prospect of member derivative lawsuits
as a factor that heavily weighs against the membership
option.

Most likely, ICANN will agree to membership within the
GNSO, but not within ICANN.

A GNSO membership option allows for individual
representation. At issue is whether ICANN is best
served by having individuals lumped into a Civil
Society Constituency or whether a separate
Unaffiliated Constituency will better serve the ICANN
interest.

Best regards,
Danny
