  Yesterday, the AG Alberto Gonzales requested federal legislation to
require ISPs to hold onto customer data longer to fight child
pornography.
What I fail to understand is why the AG also did not also ask for such
legislation to include TLD registries like PIR whom manages .ORG where
many pornographic web sits are registered, and registrars whom register
such domain names?  Could it be that doing so would be "Politically
incorrect?"
