Paid plane tickets, 1st class hotels paid for, a $ 400 per diem added to
another budget for "running cost" and the opportunity to "network" to
your heart's content seems to be the going rate for keeping this scam
alive.

With the cover of this by ICANN itself and the various "real"
constituencies, (all business related except one minority) under various
flags and in the end all representing the "earning" side of the medal,
this can obviously be perpetuated for a long time.

It has nothing to do with representation on any level, it's all about
the pecunia and they (alac) are close enough to the fire to get warmed
by it.
