Money. Internet. Funny how these are twin sons of different mothers.
Think about it. Those qualities we want frrom both are the same.
Access - If we cannot access our money or the Internet neither will do us any good at all.
Reliability - If a Yen or Eurodollar or the Internet is not reliable then we cannot count upon it and there is simply no business sense in having it.
Security - If a peso is not secure in the bank and cannot help me secure my future then it is worthless. If my transmissions and proprietory rights are not secure on the net it is like wise worthless.
So the GAO should be looked at carefully as a way of maintaining a little structure to the values we hold for our money and the Internet.
