The domain name database is small compared to these. I believe Tucows said
they could run the registry for about $2 per name instead of $6.

Hello,

An interesting set of tables at:

http://www.wintercorp.com/vldb/2003_TopTen_Survey/TopTenWinners.asp

listing those managing large databases in the world. AT&T and
Amazon.com are up there in running huge databases.... (although, so is
France Telecom....).

Sincerely,
