"Here we go again" -- But let's get the facts a bit straighter as we
go, though.

Let's not forgot about FL and the hanging chad. The voice of the
people was far from loud, clear, convincing and far from in unison. In
contrast, it was a close race which was ultimately decided by a
Republican dominated Supreme Court. The Supreme's effectively elected
G.W. without clear judicial authority to do so. Just like ICANN plays,
they did it because they could get away with it.

The statement about Gore inventing the Internet was a Clinton faux
pas - similar to another Clinton quote ". . . I didn't inhale . . ."

Gore might have a public personality as exciting as card board, but
the fact is he could have very well won the election. No one can say
for sure. The ICANN landscape might also be different, under his more
people-centric views.

The PNAC is certainly not a "U.S. Policy Mecca." It is a right-wing,
conservative, Republican, special interest group. Take a look at the
credentials of it's leadership - they are on the web site, too.

The document referenced was not written by Al Gore, it was a criticism
of Al Gore's policy, although twisted to support the view of the
special interest.

Moreover, it would be incredibly foolish to paint all Americans and
the United States with the conservative, right-wing oriented,
Republican brush of the PNAC - just the same as it would be to base
anything solely upon the liberal views of a different such
special interest organization.

This is a case where you need to eat the whole elephant, rather than
have just a bite out of only one part of it. It would also be wise to
filter on political motives and agenda's in order to isolate the truth
from the political, self-ingratiating BS.

Other than that, I agree with Jeff, in his disagreement with Jefsey's
views.

Thanks,
