What's wrong with simply letting each individual user have one vote?

Surely if I am an individual user within an organisation within a regional
organisation (RALO) within the ALAC within ICANN's labyrinthine structures,
all I'm doing is helping to legitimise a process which started with the
expulsion of elected At Large directors, and continues with its control of
the At Large by putting individuals so far down the labyrinth that frankly
they have no means of changing even their own leaders, let alone change
ICANN policy.

Vittorio my friend, come back when this ICANN set-up offers, simply, one
person one vote... to elect its own leaders and to elect its own ICANN
directors once again... and *then* I'll consider getting involved.

Until then, I prefer to align with an independent and democratic At Large,
outside of ICANN's restrictive structures. That way, I don't legitimise
ICANN's self-interest and autocracy.
