this is a summary of the public events that the ALAC is organizing in
Carthage, with a very short presentation. Full announcements with final
times/places, agenda, panelist names etc. will follow in the next days.

AT-LARGE WORKSHOP FOR THE AFRICAN COMMUNITY
Monday, 8:30-12:30

This workshop is designed to help the African community in gaining a better
knowledge about how it can participate in ICANN, the ALAC, and, more
generally, the policy development processes of the Internet.


PUBLIC DISCUSSION ON WILDCARD SERVICES
Monday, 13:00-17:00
(co-organized with other constituencies)

This workshop will include presentations of different experiences and points
of view about the usage of wildcards and the SiteFinder service in
particular.


EUROPEAN RALO ORGANIZING MEETING
Monday, 17:00-18:30
ASIA/PACIFIC RALO ORGANIZING MEETING
Wednesday, 14:00-15:30 (time to be confirmed)

These two meetings will be devoted to face to face discussion of options and
next steps for the formation of regional At Large organizations in Europe
and in Asia/Pacific.


PATHS FOR THE FUTURE: A WSIS WORKSHOP
Wednesday, 16:00-18:00 (time to be confirmed)

After a report about the WSIS and the last developments from its preparatory
meetings, panelists from different constituencies and the public will
discuss the different Internet governance models that have been proposed.
