Bashar and all,
Well I hope that Iran doesn't attract any attacks as a result
of the .IRAN IDN TLD or any of its future registrants. Lets hope
also that new registrants in the .IRAN IDN TLD namespace doesn't
misuse or abuse the non-latin aspect of this .IRAN IDN TLD as
very few people on a global basis, speak Pursian. But as we
have already seen with Iraq's ccTLD's registrants, much mischief
can and has occured and more importantly was not caught before
significant damage was done. Hence my remarks that I am hopeful
the ICANN's SSAC can and will step up and keep a sheapards watch
in new situations like this. >:) Otherwise Governments perhaps
not friendly with Iran will take charge, which I am sure that
many/most Iranians or Americans of Iranian decent would not prefer.
