[It does not seem to have been announced formally anywhere.]
Since yesterday, ".museum" no longer has DNS wildcards. It was the
first gTLD to use them, with ICANN's agreement. Now that the agreement
has been revised
(http://www.icann.org/announcements/announcement-31aug07.htm), the
wildcards have been deleted.
