Ross I refer you to the ICANN bylaws, specifically Section 5. GENERIC
NAMES SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION, Article 9 which states that "Upon the
adoption of this Transition Article, and until further action by the
ICANN Board, the GNSO Council shall assume responsibility for the DNSO
General Assembly e-mail announcement and discussion lists".
The bylaws to me are very clear. There is a General Assembly, formerly
of the DNSO now under the GNSO and this General Assembly has two e-mail
lists, one for announcements and another for discussion.
Ross how do you interprete the bylaws?
