IDN names at the second-level have been around for quite awhile but not
at the top-level. The focus now is introducing them at the top-level so
that it is possible to have an IDN.IDN name instead of an IDN.ASCII
name.
Chuck - you and I know that technically speaking there is no
difference. The DNS has no concern if a lable is IDN or ASCII. In the
end to the DNS it's all ascii and the translation of an IDN to ASCII for
the purpose of DNS lookups is a function of the users system or browser.
