After talking to Bruce Tonkin, the Chair of the GNSO, as well as the other
Task Force Chairs, we are recommending the following schedule for our work

January 21, 2004: Send questionnaires out to "Nonmarketing Groups"; Send
Formal Notice to Constituencies for their Policy Statements
February 9, 2004: Responses to questionnaires due from "Nonmarketing
February 16, 2004: Constituency Statements due
February 25, 2004: Interim Report from Task Force Due
March 3, 2004: Workshop at ICANN Meeting in Rome (tentative date)
April 9, 2004: Preliminary Report Due from Task Force; Start of Public
Comment Period
April 29, 2004: Public Comment Period Closes
May 20, 2004: Final Report Submitted to GNSO Council (I believe this will
mostly be done by the Staff Manager)

With respect to the Workshop in Rome, the current thinking is that each Task
Force will have about an hour and a half to (1) make a short presentation on
the findings thus far (which should be reflected in the Interim Report), and
to spend the rest of time having a discussion amongst the public and those
task force members that are able to attend. I will also try to find out
about remote participation in the workshop as well as real time scribe

Please let me know if you will be able to be in Rome for the Workshop.
