All,

First, let me clarify the process going forward as Jordyn and I have had a
chance to look at the ICANN Bylaws and the PDP Process.

1) Last Call on Issues 1 and 2: Now until Wednesday 5:00 PM Eastern US
time / 10:00 pm UTC). During this time period, members of the Task Force
should review the drafts and submit any recommendations in writing for
changes. Changes at this point should be checks for grammar, typos or
anything that was brought up during our discussions that were inadvertently
left out of these drafts. If there are any changes, I will send around a
revised version by Thursday at the latest. IF THERE IS NOT ANOTHER DRAFT
THAT IS CIRCULATED TO THE GROUP, ASSUME THESE DRAFTS ARE FINAL.

2) On Thursday, each voting member of the Task Force (i.e., one from each
constituency) should vote in favor of moving the draft forward to the next
stage. Members will have until Friday 5:00 pm Eastern US Time / 10:00 pm
UTC time to vote.

3) Assuming that the draft has majority support, we will then forward these
drafts to the Council.

4) According to the PDP, we believe that at this point, the GNSO Council
should solicit constituency statements on two drafts.

5) After constituency statements are collected, I believe that the Task
Force will analyze the statements, determine if any changes need to be made
to the drafts and then submit a "Preliminary Report" to the Council which
needs to contain thenformation set forth in the ICANN Bylaws Annex A,
Section 7(e) (See
http://www.icann.org/general/archive-bylaws/bylaws-19apr04.htm#AnnexA):

6) Once the Prelinary Report is completed, a public comment period will
begin on the Preliminary Report. The ICANN staff manager will then compile
the comments and work on a Final Report to be submitted to the Council for a
vote.

Please let me know if you have any questions. ALSO, REMEMBER TO VOTE
BEGINNING ON THURSDAY AND TO HAVE YOUR VOTES IN TO THE LIST BY NO LATER THAN
CLOSE OF BUSINESS YOUR TIME ON FRIDAY SO THAT WE CAN GET THIS RESOLVED
BEFORE CAPETOWN.

Please also note that originally, the Whois Notification Draft did not have
a title or introduction. I added this title and intro just now. It should
not be controversial, but if you have any comments, let me know.

Thanks.
