[council] Motion on the GAC-GNSO Consultation Group Final Report and Recommendations
Dear Colleagues!
As per our last Council call, in which we had some discussion about
where do we stand with our efforts to improve communications with the
GAC (started in 2014), I submit this motion to accept the Final Report
of the joint GAC-GNSO Consultation Group and its recommendations.
While the recommendation is for Consultation Group to be disolved, efforts trough the established mechanisms will continue directly under the respective leaderships of the GNSO and the GAC, as well as the GNSO Liaison to the GAC. They will provide needed feedback to the Council on a regular basis. The Report and its recommendations may be subject to further discussion following review by SG/Cs and Council members, as well as during the joint meeting with the GAC in Hyderabad.
