I do not object, and I think a short extension is entirely warranted. Take a

Dear Paul, Carlos, all,
Thank you for your feedback. As the PDP Manual provides no procedural details,
I believe that the request is granted unless there is explicit objection from
the Council.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Lars

Hi Lars,
What is the mechanism for the Council to agree to the extension? If it starts
with an email supporting the extension, this is that email.
Happy holidays!

Subject: [council] Extension Request
Dear Councillors,
As per PDP Manual Section 6, Staff would like to request a 30-day extension for
the delivery of the final Issue Report on the Review of all RPMs in all gTLDs.
The reason are:
* There were a significant number of public comments submitted
* The holiday period means that the 30 day deadline is effectively only 24
days
* Some internal coordination with the Charter-drafting for the New gTLD
Subsequent Round PDP is necessary
* Requiring some additional staff feedback from other departments such as
Compliance, Legal, GDD.
If the extension were granted, staff would work towards meeting the deadline
for the second January Council meeting (11 January 2016).
We hope you will agree to the extension, in the meantime, enjoy your holidays
and happy 2016!
Very best wishes,
Lars
