Re: [council] Draft Letter to ccNSO and GNSO Councils in response to board resolution 2013.04.11.14
Dear Jonathan, Apology again for not being able to join the Durban meeting in person. On the other hand -- I've found that the IDN discussion has been removed from today's agenda. Do you see the possibility to add the item back in (during the discussion of motion)? Edmon can certainly help lead the discussion, and to talk about the JIG draft letter (see attached) in responding to Board's request. Steve Sheng should have the draft motion handy. If no other councilors wish to made the motion in the meeting room then I will be happy to do so (and of course it needs to be run through RySG as well). The IDN "battle" is still on-going and the inconsistency implementation at ICANN is very frustrated. Nevertheless I am glad the JIG letter offers constructive suggestion and helps get the ball moving.
