Dear Councillors, 

The voting for the position of GNSO Council chair has closed.

Avri Doria was the only candidate nominated for the position of GNSO Council 
chair for the period 1 February 2009 until the newly structured GNSO Council is 
seated and a new chair is elected.

Please find the results of the election and please confirm that your ballot has 
been correctly recorded.

21 distinct ballots were sent out; we received 21 ballots in return, but one    
was a duplicate, so 20 votes were cast, and one person did not vote.
