As suggested by Kristina during the IPC meeting today, please note the early
background on the subject matter of IGO names and abbreviations, as
referenced in the Issues Report p 23, see below.

"The final report of the Joint Working Group (not dated, but presumably from
November 2004) is available at:

The report notes a wide divergence of views as well as providing an annex
with sample of what implementation might look like. This annex was drafted
by a GAC representative in the Working Group. The public comments to the
