I would be interested in a briefing. However, I hope this topic does not
overwhelm the meeting. There are other agenda items equally, or more,
important.

I would be interested as well. Since this "only" covers the latest 
developments in the US it might be very interessting to hear from
an European official about the legal situation in Europe as well. 
If there is interest I could try to arrange such a meeting. (inside the 
normal constituency meeting).
