To the GNSO .Net Subcommittee:

VeriSign understands that ICANN has established this subcommittee for the
purpose of developing recommendations to the GNSO Council for "a consensus
statement defining criteria and conditions to be applied in the selection
of a successor registry operator," consistent with the current .net
Registry Agreement and other applicable requirements.  In this regard, I
have attached for your reference a document titled, "Evaluation and
Responsibility Criteria for the .net TLD," which outlines a number of the
criteria and conditions that ICANN should apply in the course of selecting
a registry operator.  We hope that you will find this information helpful.  
If you have any questions or would like to discuss any of the information
